Man Bytes Dog has a simple philosophy – we are in business to keep our clients IT systems working in every way that helps their business prosper. Flexibility, responsiveness, and a ‘right first time’ attitude is at the heart of our service and we know, from our testimonials, that through our flagship platform VITAL, we are providing a quality service that enables clients to get on with growing their businesses rather than concerning themselves with IT.

The VITAL portfolio

VITAL Managed LAN – The intelligent way for companies to outsource their IT. Fundamental to the solution is a set of centralized services that deliver email, security, desktop management and licensing in a controlled and audited way. We also appreciate that not all companies or users are the same, and that individual problems need immediate attention. We therefore have a fully manned helpdesk obtainable via the telephone or online to deal with your issues.

VITAL Virtual Desktop – Companies can still benefit from the suite of VITAL services without needing to have any physical servers or even an office. Through Thin Client technology, Man Bytes Dog has developed a web enabled service that gives you access to a virtual desktop with access to all the VITAL services. As part of the solution a virtual file server is provided so that users can collaborate on files and have them saved in a central location which is backed up on a daily basis.

ViTAL hosted Exchange – For companies and users that want all the functionality of an in-house mail server but without the upfront costs and headaches, Man Bytes Dog has developed a Hosted Exchange solution based on the latest Microsoft 2007 platform. With multiple ways to access your email – MS Outlook, The Web, Windows Mobile phones and Blackberries, the solution allows you to access your data whether you are in the office, at home or abroad.

Afternoon All,

Trust you all had a fine weekend – filled with barn dancing, hog roast scoffing and cinema attending as I did!

Money, Money, Money………… No it wasn’t Mike singing an Abba classic, it was his 10 minutes presentation of all things debt collecting. I really enjoyed him talking about how to ensure you get your wedge from your customers when they have stiffed you – a most enthralling discussion in these hard times. Please do make sure you pass on any referrals to Mike when you talk to any clients that you know would could use his services.

Mike Seagall opened for us this morning discussing all things Money Collectors his comment “we are 100% serious about collecting money” certainly made me sit up. Hiten’s business, Revolution, is currently doing a lot of work with firms/individuals looking to rebrand or merge with other businesses. David Coburn, our BRX Regional Partner, as ever, is looking for potential new members for his London groups. Christian, fresh from another holiday! is keen for Danesoft to do more with its surveys proposition. MBD offer FTSE 100 IT support services for the SME market, certainly that was the point that Des Sutton was making this morning. Our Diamond Geezer, Lewis Malka, is currently designing and manufacturing jewellery for actor types, very posh!!! Louise Hassett from Delfont Mackintosh can entertain you and corporate parties etc at one of their fabulous West End Theatres. Roy Duncan from RG Duncan Associates would like to talk to Senior Financial Officers and Financial Controllers who are looking to sharpen their act in terms of accountancy staff. Karelia is busy as ever with sports agents but is always keen to speak with more to discuss her property search business Manse & Garrett. Paul Marmor fromSherrards Solicitors wants to bring people to their knees!! He means if somebody won’t pay for services provided and all else has failed their legal team will resolve it. George Metcalf our resident coach wants to shine a light on peoples opportunities. Apparently Texaco do a good line in torches so George informs us. Alexis from The Happiness Centre can help people those poor souls suffering from stress. She is keen to talk with HR depts in the city. Gavin from Destiny PLC loves his pens, particularly his digital data transfer thingy. Destiny recently saved a firm £75,000. Peter Stevens from Sayers Butterworth wants to help people who are paying their tax bills on account. “Dedication, that’s what you need, if you want to be the best…….. etc etc” Richard from Splatt Print obviously has a thing for Roy Castle. Sliced Bread are the talk of the town when it comes to animation and changing peoples attitudes through cartoons. George Emsden our money doctor would like to speak with people who have recently been made redundant and need a clear financial plan for the future. Mike Chan continues to do a great job keeping us all up to date with the best mortgage deals through Shadow Finance. DRT and Maurice Press make buying a property easy for the blind and partially sighted. They can reproduce literature in braille. Caroline Hampstead is the best copywriter in the world so everyone says, she would like to demonstrate this with marketing managers. Ah, Kirsty Joly and her chocolates. Enough said ,there the best in town. Hang on what about me, well Green Park Insurance Services are keen to speak with cash rich time poor private clients who want a really decent chap to take care of their insurance. Oh by the way thats me, Mike Nightingale.

Morning All,

Hope you are having a good week – over flowing with business and a new zest for life on these cold mornings!

I was very impressed with Maurice and his 10 mins presentation – everyone puts time and energy in to their presentations but Maurice goes that little bit further by asking people what they wanted to know. It’s hard to comprehend the life of someone with any disability yet Maurice draws you a picture with wit and grace that makes the most difficult of subjects easier to question. I think its obvious that this is one of his strengths that he translates (quite literally) in to his work. If you know of anyone who works in HR / Training in Haringey / Islington Council in particular then please recommend Maurice’s services.

See you all on Friday

Richard
