Sherrards: the ease of doing business in the UK

Sherrards recently presented at a webinar hosted by HSBC’s UK inward investment team and broadcast to the bank’s Hong Kong based relationship managers.

Alliotts Accountants presented alongside Sherrards and the subject of their presentation focussed on the accounting, tax and legal considerations of setting up a UK business. Whilst Paul Marmor and Wincy Cheung of Sherrards talked about the UK’s favourable legal system and the legal aspects of doing business in the UK, Alliotts partners Jon Luk and Colin Farmer covered the accounting and tax aspects. The presenters then answered a number of questions on the UK’s fiscal and legal set up.

Sherrards and Alliotts are members Alliott Group, a growing international alliance of independent accountants and lawyers represented by 160 offices in 72 countries, including Hong Kong and China.

Paul Marmor of Sherrards commented: “We were delighted to be involved in this initiative. Lewis Malka – Doing the NYC Marathon for charity

For those of you who have lost count, this will be my seventh marathon. And I can tell you, it only gets harder!!! This year I have chosen a charity which I believe is a very worthy cause, and one I am going to support 100% for no other reason other than the amazing work they do and the help they need.

Get Kids Going! is a National charity which gives disabled children and young people – up to the age of 26 yrs – the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport. I believe that disabled children deserve the best care and assistance that they can get, so why not try to provide them with the best foundations to help achieve that.
