The more you put in, the more…

Well, hello once again. This weeks meeting saw quite a few absentees. Is this a sign that the holiday season is upon us? Well if that is the case, may I remind everyone that there is a subs list available and it is crucial that we all try to find a sub when we know in advance we won’t be attending.

The more you put in to the group, the more you get out.

Well, now I’ve got that off my chest, we did have the following subs, so well done to:
George Metcalfe, Jamie Denham, Christian Ingerslev, Alexis Garnaut-Miller, and Mab Ayuub. And a warm welcome to their subs and our visitors Daniel Broadhead, Stephan Lubo, Karelia Scott-Daniels, Alan Bywater, Jonny Mindlin, & Sharon Ezra.

We had most of the usual suspects in this morning. They are, in no particular order, Mike Nightingale (our Chairman), Nigel Hakkak, Justin Beavis, Paul Marmor (I spotted you), Caroline Hampstead, Roy Duncan, Andrew Buttersworth, George Emsden, Richard Holdsworth, Kirsty Joly, Zoe Antin and myself Lewis Malka. And it was nice to welcome back Mike Segal after a long absence.

With the 10-minute person an absentee this morning, we had more time for open networking after the regular 60 second round. And then it was straight on to the referral round.

There was a major announcement made at the start of the meeting by our Chairman Mike Nightingale, who told us all that Richard Holdsworth had been promoted to Vice Chairman of the group and that he would no longer be doing the referral round on a regular basis. So naturally this meant there is now a vacant position in the group for someone to take over his responsibilities. Yes you guessed it that has now fallen on my lap (Lewis Malka). So with a few new initiatives going to be introduced to the group over the coming weeks, my role will be to help you all make even more money from your BRX membership.

That just leaves me to wish Mab and Hiten well over their case of the swine flu and we all wish you guys a speedy recovery.

That’s it from me, just a reminder if you are planning a holiday please ensure your company is still represented at the meeting.
